Bath Boating Station
Bath Boating Station is a charming Victorian Boating Station that offers Canoeing, Rowing and Punting hire, along the River Avon and all within walking distance of the City Centre,
The pretty lawns along with the abundance of wildlife along the river offer the perfect picnic spot after your boating trip or enjoy a meal in the Bathwick Boatman Riverside Restaurant located right above the historic boating station.
Boats Available:
Thames Skiffs Traditional Rowing Boats - Rowing involves two oars per person Each boat can take 2 - 6 adults in each and has a rudder for steering.
Punts and Canoes - Can seat up to 5 average-sized adults. One person controls the pole and the others paddle.
Canadian Canoes - Can seat up to 4 average-sized adults. One person paddles, one at the bow and two can sit in the middle.
Prices:
Adults: £10 for 1 hour / £15 for 2 hours
Children: £5 for 1 hour / £7.50 for 2 hours (children under 5 are free)
Bath Boating Station's sister company is Pulteney Cruisers, the longest-established boat tour operator in Bath, and offers a scenic hour's cruise up the River Avon to Bathampton on a twin-decked boat.
