Bath Rugby's Anthony Watson to miss first two games of Six Nations
Anthony Watson has been ruled out of action for three to four weeks because of a hamstring strain.
The 22-year-old, who has been named in England's Six Nations squad, will definitely miss the games against France (February 4) and Wales (February 11) and it will be touch-and-go whether he can play against Italy on the 26th.
Watson has sustained a muscular strain to his hamstring and will remain as part of the England squad to recieve treatment, rather than returning to club side Bath.
Head coach Eddie Jones said: "It's disappointing news for Anthony and for England, but we know he'll rehab diligently to get himself right to go as soon as he can. We're confident he'll be in the mix later in the championship."
This is the second time Watson has been injured while on England duty, as he broke his jaw while at the international set up earlier on this campaign.
