Care Provider Given Green Light by Local Authority
Bath care company Butterfly has been approved as a trusted trader by Bath & North East Somerset Council.
The company, which employs around 70 people making 1,200 visits each week to homes across Bath and Wiltshire, has taken part in a scheme by BANES to help families make informed choices when loved ones need quality care at home.
Over the past year, BANES has been extending its existing ‘Buy with Confidence’ approved trader scheme to cover businesses providing care services in and around the city of Bath.
The new “Buy with Confidence + Care” certification offers reassurance to vulnerable individuals and their families that they will be cared for appropriately and in a legal, honest and fair way.
Staff at Butterfly, which has branches in Odd Down, Bath and Westbury, Wiltshire is delighted have successfully completed the rigorous approval process.
“We are so pleased to have been added to the BANES register,” said Ben Wicks, Butterfly’s Business Development and Facilities Manager.
“Knowing our services have been stringently vetted by Trading Standards officers affords extra comfort to the families of our clients.
