Chippenham BID Hosts Family Easter Egg Trail

The Chippenham Business Improvement District (BID) is hosting a fun family Easter Egg Trail throughout Chippenham town centre this Saturday 26th March within the trading hours of 9pm – 5pm.

The event will run alongside the Borough Parade shopping centre’s Easter themed activities and will see children and parents follow a series of clues around 15 participating stores. Each store will be numbered and have a large Easter sticker displayed, with the final destination collecting all forms to be entered into a prize draw. Fifteen winners will then be selected at random on Friday 1^st April and announced on the Chippenham BID website and through Twitter and Facebook.

The Easter trail participants can also download the Chippenham Connected app for free to get free town Wi-Fi and map assistance on the day. The app can be downloaded from www.chippenhamconnected.com/free-wifi-app.

Melody Thompson, the Chair of the Chippenham BID Board said, “The Easter Egg Trail is a great way for us to support our local businesses whilst doing something fun and free that all families can take part in and enjoy. The event also encourages people to use the free Wi-Fi and app the BID has put in place. It’s a great introduction and a clever use of the technology.”

Parents and children interested in the trail are encouraged to email [email protected] by Thursday 24^th March at 2pm to request a special Chippenham Easter Trail form.

Other activities happening at the Borough Parade shopping centre over the weekend include face painting, balloon modelling and Easter themed circus activities. Posters with further information are being displayed in the shopping centre.
