Clarks Village Plans New Children's Play Area

The popular children’s outdoor play area at Clarks Village is set for an exciting new development.

The first phase will require the temporary closure of the facility, on Monday 14th March, while the existing King Arthur’s Castle is removed to make way for new attractions

Speaking about the planned development, Steve Burge, Marketing Manager at Clarks Village said “The outdoor play area, which features dragon slides, swings and an infant play area, is an important asset for Clarks Village and is popular with families who visit and shop at the Village, offering parents somewhere to entertain the children while they shop. King Arthur’s castle is over 10 years old and we decided that a new development is needed which will freshen the area up to ensure it remains a popular attraction and an ongoing asset to the Village and our guests.

“We appreciate the temporary closure of the area may be an inconvenience, but would like to reassure our customers that the closure will only be for a brief period of time.  This weekend will be the final opportunity for children to play on King Arthur’s castle and while we will be a little sad to see it go we are very excited about the prospect of bringing a brand new play facility to the Village. ”
