Dragons Den Entrepreneur Takes Centre Stage at Launch of New Networking Group
Young Dragons Den entrepreneur Ed Hollands has been named at the guest speaker at the launch of a new networking group in Yate, near Bristol later this month.
The 24 year old owner of DrivenMedia has spent the last two years building his business using the advertising ‘space’ on the sides of trucks and lorries to market products and services. He appeared on the BBC tv show in February this year.
He will be sharing his story at the launch of a new Spotless networking event on Wednesday July 25 between 7pm and 9pm at the Vintage Birdcage Cakery and Café in Yate. Run by the Spotless Group, which has its HQ in Chipping Sodbury, the event will be held monthly.
Kelly Brown, co-founder of the Spotless Group, said: “We wanted to create an event which combined professional and supportive networking with an evening of entertainment, motivation and inspiration.
“We’re thrilled that Ed has come along to support us and to share the story of his journey in business so far.”
In February this year Ed appeared on the BBC tv series Dragons Den and one Dragon Jenny Campbell, was inspired by his ambition and drive. She offered an investment of £30,000 for a 20 per cent share in his business – an offer he was happy to accept.
On the night Ed will be sharing his story so far and what’s happened since the show was transmitted. He was actually filmed for the show in late 2017 and had to keep the outcome a secret for several months.
