New Accountancy Firm Shortlisted for Business Award
A dynamic new Wiltshire accountancy firm has been shortlisted in the prestigious South West Business and Community Awards.
Purple Lime has been nominated in the New Start Up of the Year category of the awards. The company, which was established in 2016, has taken accountancy into the 21st century employing the latest finance and accounting technology offering a time efficient, tech-led and fresh approach to supporting their clients’ businesses.
Purple Lime was shortlisted from 150 applications. The annual event is organised by South West Expo.
Co-founder Oli Thomas said: “We’re really thrilled to be nominated for this award. It’s an important recognition of our innovative approach to accountancy.”
In December 2016 Purple Lime co-founders Angela Ashworth and Oli Thomas came together to create a new company offering small businesses an outsourced flexible finance department using Xero cloud technology. The company welcomed accounting technician Sarah Henson early in 2017. Now in 2018 Management Accountant Edd Stone has joined. A further team member has been appointed who will join February 2018.
Their clients include Interactive Scientific of Bristol; Exxus Energy Ltd (London), The Bath Pub Company Ltd, Dan Preece Ltd, a local farrier, Ace Marquetry in Marlborough, A Touch of Tradition in Warminster and the Corsham Institute.
The first South West Business and Community Awards will take place on Thursday January 18 at The Double Tree Hilton Hotel, Swindon at 8pm.
