The VisitEngland Awards for Excellence is a yearly accolade focusing on businesses in English tourism.
No. 1 Royal Crescent is a Georgian Museum situated in the famous Royal Crescent landmark. Visitors step into the 1700s learning through the musum's showcasing of fascinating collectables, furniture and historical objects as well as guided tours and interactive events.
VisitEngland has selected No. 1 Royal Crescent as a finalist in the category Small Visitor Attraction of the Year alongside King Richard III Visitor Centre, located in Leicester, and Sculpture by the Lakes, in Dorset.
The museum took to their social media, celebrating their nomination, writing: "No.1 Royal Crescent is a finalist in the category 'Small Visitor Attraction of the Year' in the @VisitEngland awards! We are so proud to have been shortlisted as one of England's top tourism businesses along with our fellow finalists @sculpturebythelakes and @kriiicentre. Looking forward to awards night"
This is a coveted achievement, being acknowledged amongst the best across Engalnd, and a testement to the high-quality experience tourists receive when visiting No. 1 Royal Crescent.
