September is here. It's the month when autumn officially arrives - the autumn equinox fell on September 22. What does this month hold for you and your business? What are you looking forward to for the rest of this year? What events are pending for you? What advice would you give to others? What are you grateful for in September?

Today we're talking to Jamie Martin who is managing director and founder of Correct Careers Coaching which offer modern sales training and sales strategy. 

What’s happened in your business this month?  

I have won new clients to do onsite training for their teams, I am looking forward to delivering training in person again.

I hosted a LinkedIn Sales Training workshop and I will be visiting one of my clients for a few days – they are based near Nottingham! 

What are your personal plans for this month? 

My personal plans include exercising (especially when it is sunny!) socialising more with family and friends and enjoy the plans for my upcoming birthday.

September is also known as ‘organic’ month – do you shop, dress, or behave with green ethics in mind? 

I hate waste! Thus, I only buy what I need. And I certainly recycle everything!

World Gratitude Day took place this month – what are you grateful for at the moment? 

I am grateful to still be able to continue running my business, Covid19 has been a challenging time for everyone, especially the business community. For my business to be operating still reminds me not to take anything for granted – be grateful for what we have rather than what we would like!

What are your hopes for business in general this year? 

1. To work with 1-2 more retained clients

2. For my sales training e-learning course to continue selling more on a global scale

3. To work with more SMEs/corporate businesses

And finally, as a bit of fun, September marks Teddy Bear Day? Do you have your childhood teddy bear – or are you a bit of a kid with ‘grown up’ teddy bears? 

Yes, I used to have a dog teddy bear when I was young. It was blue!
