Systemagic Team Grows as IT Specialist Continues to Expand

Latest news from Systemagic

Three new faces have joined the team at IT company Systemagic as the company prepares for expansion to bigger premises in the spring.

Patrick Medhurst, 25, from Westbury, has joined as an IT technician and will go out and support clients on site. He’s got five years’ experience in the sector and brings both experience and great customer service skills.

Joining him is new Help Desk technician Michael Fortnam, 20, who lives in Calne, and has a four-year background in providing telephone and remote support to customers, having previously worked for a large helpdesk. He will be providing support and guidance to customers via the Help Desk run by Systemagic.

The third new face is apprentice Joseph Grant, aged 21. Joseph, who lives in Shaftesbury is working with the Systemagic team to achieve a Level 3 Advanced apprenticeship in IT and is the latest of a number of apprentices trained by Systemagic boss James Eades, who started off as an apprentice in IT himself and is committed to nurturing young talent.

James Eades, managing director, said: ‘‘I’m really happy to have started 2017 by adding three new members to our team – they bring experience, skills and enthusiasm to our technical delivery and are already receiving great feedback from our customers.
“Having grown in numbers from five to 13 in just a couple of years we are also moving to new 4000sq ft offices in April which will allow us to create an excellent environment to work in and to continue to expand.”

Along with award-winning IT support, Systemagic provides business telephone systems, cloud computing and connectivity solutions to South West businesses, without typing anyone in to a long term contract. The 13-strong team is currently based on the Bath/Wiltshire border and celebrates 18 years in business this year. The company recently won the award of Commitment to Apprenticeships from Yeovil College in Somerset, the third award in 3 years for their apprenticeship programme.
