Tell us a little bit about yourself…

Ok, where to start! I’m a financial planner based in Royal Wootton Bassett.

I started Future Balance Finance to help people manage their money better and make the right financial decisions.

I have always had a keen interest in personal finance and in helping people, and my hope is that through Future Balance Finance I can do both.

Away from the office I’m an avid sports fan and long-suffering follower of Swindon Town FC.

Future Balance Finance strives to help our clients make the most of their money, we go the extra mile to support them from start to finish and pride ourselves of our high-quality service.  

How does Future Balance help improve people’s financial wellbeing?

By ensuring our clients have the right protection and financial products in place to suit their needs.

We also believe in helping our clients better understand their different financial options and what they can do to improve their finances.

What makes you different to any other financial company in Swindon?

We want all our clients to fully understand all their options, we don’t just run the numbers. We know that protection and finances can be confusing and a little daunting sometimes, so we do our best to explain things as we go and answer all our client’s financial questions. 

What has been the biggest challenge you have faced?

Lockdown and the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic has been a significant challenge, but one that has helped us become more flexible and improve how we work.

We now offer free online video consultations for anyone looking for financial guidance from home and have switched many of our processes online to save sending out as many documents through the post.

What three things keep you motivated to achieve the best?

• Continuing to improve the service we offer

Why should individuals choose to work with you?

Because Future Balance Finance exists to improve our client’s finances, whether that’s helping first time buyers get a foot on the property ladder or homeowners release equity.

We also have a strong understanding of the local market and working relationships with lenders so if, for example, you’re applying for a mortgage we can support you every step of the way.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not busy at work?

Sport mainly although these days it’s much more watching than playing!

What advice would you give to those who would love to pursue a career in finance?

Speak to local businesses to gain experience and an insight into what a career in finance is like on a day to day basis.
