WILTSHIRE ESTATE AGENT IS NO APRIL FOOL!

TARA COZENS CELEBRATES HER SECOND BUSINESS BIRTHDAY BY EXPANDING!

Just two years ago on 1st April, Tara Cozens opened up her independent estate agency to cover Swindon, Malmesbury, Faringdon and many of the surrounding towns and villages.

She decided to call her new business TLC Property Group, which not only reflects the initials of her name (Tara Louise Cozens), but also the tender loving care she offers to her customers. Tara said: “There are many agents in today’s marketplace, but I believe our reputation for customer service and excellence sets us apart from others.”

Tara (33), who lives in Cricklade, has a wealth of experience gained in the commercial and independent sectors over 16 years and started in the property business when she was just 17 years old. She even helped one struggling estate agency business get back on its feet and then saw them expand!

Now it is Tara’s turn to expand as she has recently opened a second branch in Marlborough and plans to open a third branch in Cirencester.

Tara explained: “The vast majority of property searches are now conducted online. This is why you will not find TLC Property Group on the High Street. Our local agents work remotely, enabling them to accomplish more for their clients, whilst reducing the business overheads and passing those saving on to the customers.”

The new ‘remote’ Marlborough branch covers Chippenham, Corsham, Melksham and Calne to the west of Marlborough; Devizes, Pewsey, Andover and Tidworth to the south and Hungerford and Newbury to the east along the M4 corridor. A new full-time employee has also been recruited to manage the new branch.

Tara said: “I am thrilled to be celebrating the company’s second year in business and am excited to be expanding and being able to cover a larger area across the south west.

“Since my business started two years ago, we have faced some big challenges. Brexit impacted massively with people not wanting to make decisions about selling or moving house. Then, of course, the pandemic happened.”

Tara feels confident her business and the property market have now weathered the storm and believes the newly expanded TLC Property Group will continue to thrive especially as the Government recently announced the 5% deposit scheme for property buyers and the extension of the stamp duty holiday.

“In addition,” said Tara, “I believe we offer very reasonable fees. We charge just 8.5% for a fully managed service and offer a flat sales fee of only £1,250.

“We have now helped well over 100 clients either sell or let their properties in the last two years and I would like to thank all my loyal customers for their support, especially last year when the housing market went through uncertain times,” said Tara. “Since the beginning of the year, lettings have gone through the roof. We have had a huge amount of enquiries and we are really looking forward to working with more new customers over the coming year and beyond.”
