Bath & North East Somerset Council Welcome New Director

Louise Fradd, has joined Bath & North East Somerset Council as their new Strategic Director - Place.

No stranger to local government, Louise has spent the last 5 years working for Bridgend County Borough Council.

The former Corporate Director for Communities has over 27 years of experience and has already outlined her priorities for the role.

Louise will continue to develop a Leisure Strategy and a Local Transport Plan as well ensure that in future, the Place Directorate’s priorities are effectively communicated to local people.

Louise who has been attempting to get to know all of the key local issues will be meeting with local people in the coming month’s to better understand the aspirations of communities.

The Place Directorate provides a wide range of public services from Waste collection to Arts & Festivals and from Planning & Transport to Employability & Skills.

Place which is currently responsible for Bath’s major regeneration and economic development impacts upon everyone living and working in the area.
