Classic Mojito
Add a slice of the Caribbean to your home with this super easy and refreshing mojito. Perfect for the incoming hot weather, this minty mojito is a great drink to sit down and relax in the garden with as you top up your tan ready for summer.
Ingredients:
- 50ml White Rum
- 1 good splash of Soda Water
- 2tsp Caster Sugar
- 1 Mint Sprig
- 2 wedges of Lime
- Crushed Ice
You will need:
- 1 Tall Glass
- 1 Knife
- 1 Large Spoon
- Shaker if possible
Method:
1. Crush two wedges of lime with 2 teaspoons of sugar in a large bowl or mortar until well mixed and set aside.
2. Pick 10-12 leaves (depending on glass size) of mint leaves from your sprig and place in the bottom of your glass. Add the lime and sugar on top and press down with your spoon.
3. Add a handful of crushed ice to the glass until 3/4 full.
4. Pour the white rum and soda water into a shaker and shake well. If you don’t have a shaker then pour both directly into the glass and mix well with a spoon.
5. Top up with ice and garnish with mint before enjoying.
Pimm’s & Lemonade
Pimm’s & Lemonade is the traditional British cocktail which is enjoyed by millions of us up and down the country every year. A staple in British cocktails, this delicate drink packs a fruity punch and is perfect with a barbecue as the sun beats down in the middle of summer.
Ingredients:
- 50ml Pimm’s
- 150ml Lemonade
- 1 Lemon Slice
- 1 Cucumber Slice
- 1 Strawberry
- 1 Mint Sprig
- Ice Cubes
You will need:
- 1 Tall Glass
- 1 Knife
- 1 Large Spoon
- Shaker if possible
Method:
1. First, you’ll need to fill your glass with several ice cubes but leave enough room to stir.
2. Gently shake your Pimms and Lemonade together in your shaker, or pour into your glass and mix well with a spoon.
3. Slice your fruit into the recommended measures and add to your glass before mixing well. Add more or less fruit as you see fit.
4. Garnish with mint and enjoy.
Blue Lagoon
This brightly coloured cocktail is the closes thing you’ll get to summer in a glass and is certainly one way to brighten up the current lockdown. This delicious drink is refreshingly sweet and will undoubtedly be a favourite of those with a sweet tooth. It’s also incredibly easy to make.
Ingredients:
- 50ml Vodka
- 25ml Blue Curaçao Liqueur
- 150ml Lemonade
- 1 Lemon Slice
- Ice Cubes
You will need:
- 1 Knife
- 1 Tall Glass
- 1 Large Spoon
- Shaker if possible
Method:
1. Fill your glass with ice cubes but leave room to stir.
2. Add the vodka and lemonade into a shaker and gently shake before pouring into your glass. Simply pour in and stir with your spoon if you don’t have access to a shaker.
3. Drizzle your Blue Curaçao over your glass and watch it transform the colour of your drink.
4. Garnish with lemon and enjoy.
Harvey Wallbanger
A classic cocktail if ever there was one, this Harvey Wallbanger is a modern classic with its tangy orange flavour intertwined with a punch of vodka to give a strong citrusy taste. It’s a really simple cocktail to make, just make sure you don’t use too much vodka.
Ingredients:
- 50ml Vodka
- 100ml Orange Juice
- 17ml Vanilla Liqueur
- 1 Orange Slice
- Ice Cubes
You will need:
- 1 Tall Glass
- 1 Large Spoon
- 1 Knife
- Shake if possible
Method:
1. Fill your glass with ice but leave enough room to stir.
2. Shake your vodka, orange juice, and vanilla liqueur and pour into your glass. Alternatively, pour directly into your glass and stir well.
3. Garnish with your orange slice and that’s it. Sit back, relax, and enjoy.

This erotically named cocktail is a favourite with adults as it’s fruity flavour welcomes in the start of summer. It’s really easy to make and can be adjusted to suit each person's different tastes if you wish to.
Ingredients:
- 9ml Peach Schnapps
- 35ml Vodka
- 35ml Orange Juice
- 35ml Cranberry Juice
- 1 Orange Slice
- Ice Cubes
You will need:
- 1 Tall Glass
- 1 Large Spoon
Method:
1. Fill your glass with ice but leave enough room to stir.
2. Mix the spirits together with your orange and cranberry juice in your glass and stir well.
3. Garnish with an orange slice and enjoy.
