Much-loved Après Ski Bar set to make BIG return to Abbey Hotel Bath this Christmas

IT’S BACK…… by popular demand, Abbey Hotel Bath will bring the Alpine ambience of the ski slopes back to the very heart of the city this Christmas!

Step into the magical setting of the Après Ski Bar and enjoy hearty food, steaming mulled wine, cocktails, and festive fun!

Prior to the pandemic, the popular Après Ski Bar at Abbey Hotel Bath was very much an integral part of the city’s festive celebrations. After an unforeseen two-year hiatus, the twinkly snow-topped ski chalet is finally making its BIG return for the 2022 festive season.
 
The Après Ski Bar will officially open its doors on Thursday 17th November 2022 and will remain open daily from 12pm - late, right through until the end of the festive season.

The Après Ski Bar offers the perfect place to rest weary feet after a day exploring the Bath Christmas Markets or the city’s shopping scene. It provides a magical wonderland setting for children (big and small) to capture the perfect festive snaps when having fun in the purpose-built snow globe, or next to the bright and interactive mural that adorns the side of the chalet. The fun and festive mural has been imaginatively created by local artists, Jason Dorley-Brown, and Emma Taylor of JET Pictures.

This season, expect traditional après’ ski fare including mouth-watering bratwursts, winter cocktails, indulgent luxury hot chocolates, and locally sourced mulled cider that will help set the festive tone.

If you’ve lived in Bath for a long time or if you’re a frequent Christmas shopper in the city, then you will likely know that the Apres-Ski Bar is one of the city’s top highlights in the run up to Christmas.

With sparkly lights, alpine lodge décor and festive music, it is the place to go to for Christmassy merriment. Braver souls can sit outside on the terrace under Bath’s starry skies whilst enjoying the festive atmosphere wrapped up in a warm, snuggly blanket.
