Cocktail Recipe: Blood and Sand

Quite possibly the best cocktail you could drink if you want a friendly introduction to Scotch Whisky, here is Be At One Bath's Blood and Sand cocktail recipe!

It's quite fruity but you get the smoky aftertaste that isn't too overpowering. It's really well balanced, and before you know it you'll be well into your Scotch!

Ingredients:

• Scotch whisky
• Cherry brandy
• Sweet vermouth
• Orange juice

Make your own Blood and Sand:

1) Chill a cocktail glass with crushed ice

2) Add all ingredients to a Boston glass and shake with cubed ice

3) Remove crushed ice and strain the mixture into the glass

4) Garnish with a twist of orange zest
