Tapas Revolution is pleased to announce their Menu Navidad – a delightfully Spanish take on Christmas Dinner, allowing friends, families and colleagues to enjoy a sharing feast which is free of over-cooked Brussels Sprouts and dry Turkey this Christmas.
The Menu Navidad is an ideal way to celebrate the most wonderful time of year and jingle your dinner bells to a new tune; perfect for both the office party and an intimate Christmas meal with loved ones this December. This seasonal menu has been created by Tapas Revolution founder and TV Chef Omar Allibhoy, especially for the festive season to reflect his childhood memories of celebrating Navidad and sharing meals with family in his native Madrid.
Guests will start their feast with a selection of Tapas for the whole table to share. This will be followed by a choice of four festive main dishes including Spanish favourite Pavo Relleno con Jamon - Roast turkey breast wrapped in serrano ham and filled with manchego cheese served with new potatoes, savoy cabbage and piquillo pepper sauce.
Also on offer are Spanish seasonal desserts including Pastel de Chocolate y Turrón – Chocolate and walnut brownie served warm with poached red berries and Spanish almond nougat. Turrón, made from made of honey, sugar, egg whites and almonds, are as popular as the English Mince Pie in Spain during the festive season and will often occupy entire walls in local markets.
Guests at Tapas Revolution Bath are also able to get into the festive spirit with Spanish Christmas specials. On offer this December are Mulled Sangria (a Tapas Revolution favourite made with red wine, pineapple, orange and strawberry alongside festive star anise, cinnamon and the houses’ secret ingredients - £3.95) as well as Christmas Churros (Tapas Revolution’s classic Churros served with traditional Spanish Turrón - £4.50).
Omar says: “I have many fond memories of Christmas as it was a time when my whole family would get together and I fell in love with cooking traditional Spanish festive dishes. I’m really excited to share my experience of Navidad as a child in Spain with a menu that reflects traditional Spanish customs during the festive period. Spanish food is perfect for celebrations as it can be shared and enjoyed together and I hope that guests at Tapas Revolution will also be able to create some special Christmas memories with their loved ones, just as I did with my family back home in Spain.”
