Nutritionally Supercharged Meals Designed to Boost Your Health Launches in Bath

Launching exclusively in Bath on 14th July, with recipes created by registered dietitian, Sasha Watkins, and chef Matt Williamson, field doctor.™ offers science-led and dietitian-designed meals that future-proof long-term wellness goals and taste delicious.

Pioneering a new approach to food, field doctor.™ flips the way meals are made on its head.  Following the latest nutritional science, ingredients are selected for their nutritional properties and health benefits, and then turned into delicious meals designed to improve health and target nine specific health areas such as immunity, gut and cognitive health. 

Bath-based co-founders – food entrepreneur, Martin Dewey and registered dietitian, Sasha Watkins - have joined forces with a shared passion and belief in the power of food and proven nutritional science. 

Martin Dewey comments, “In creating these meals we have harnessed the phenomenal power of good food to support better health whilst tasting amazing and being really convenient.  Personally, I’ve learnt a huge amount over the last 12 months on this area, particularly around gut health, and it has changed the way my family and I eat.  The science is this area is growing daily, we really are just at the beginning.”

Believed to be the healthiest ready meals available in the UK, each dish is made using natural ingredients based on the latest research, with specific nutrient profiles that supercharge each delicious meal.  Cooked in small batches by head chef Matt Williamson and his team at Food Works in Weston-Super-Mare, the meals are then flash frozen, to lock in goodness and flavour, and delivered in recyclable packaging direct to the customer’s door.

Sasha Watkins comments, “All our meals are science-led. We leverage the latest peer-reviewed nutrition research to identify the best ingredient selection for Matt to prepare and create meals with maximum nutrition and associated health benefits.  We’re at the forefront of Health 2.0 and pioneering a new world of food that is not just packed with nutrition, it’s full of flavour.  We can’t wait for people to try it.”

The range includes meat, fish, vegetarian and vegan dishes and Field Doctor.™ is committed to supporting sustainable farming methods and biodiversity practices, using UK organic meat, Cornish fresh-caught fish, and British-grown grains.

Choose from a range of 11 delicious dishes, including beef and quinoa meatballs, Mediterranean bake hake, Red pepper and chickpea curry, Malaysian tofu curry, and many more. Most dishes can be cooked in eight minutes in a microwave but can also be cooked in the oven.
