Shop Local, Buy Bath
Artisan produce retailer Taste of Bath is evolving, now with more buying options for foodie customers.
Taste of Bath has now been trading for 6 months, having launched in November 2015.
Helen Rich, the founder, is dedicated to sourcing the best fine food Bath has to offer. Products are hand selected for quality and taste, the majority are award winning and some are unsung heroes!
The business has recieved a phenomenal response to its hamper gifting service: the majority of customers are Bathonian’s sending a Taste of Bath as a gift across the UK.
In March 2016 they hosted their first Taste event with resounding success: 180 people came and tasted the best of Bath’s artisan produce and purchased directly from the customer.
Coming up on the 8th June, Taste of Bath will be hosting a special roadshow at Westminster, as a guest of Ben Howlett MP and in conjunction with Bath BID, Visit Bath and Bath Council.
There has been overwhelmingly positive feedback from customers, locals and businesses in Bath. However, the one frustration that has been expressed time and time again is that this fantastic resource has only been available as a gifting service.
They’ve taken note…
Customers can now order a Taste of Bath as a normal grocery service!
“Customers don’t have the time to go to each individual stockists and try every product or meet every producer. They want ease, quality and a memorable experience”.
For £6.50 delivery charge, customers can select their favourite local foods and they will be sent out via a 24 hour courier service.
Customers can continue to send Taste of Bath as a gift, by simply adding a £25 handcrafted apple crate to the shopping basket.
This is a new genre for Taste of Bath, they will be the only resource in Bath that can provide all of the best artisan produce, sourced within 10 miles of Bath, in one place. When you buy 2+ products it will be cheaper than going directly to the producer’s website and paying postage individually.
