SOUTHGATE BATH WELCOMES INDEPENDENT CAFES TO THE CITY CENTRE
SouthGate Bath has welcomed family-owned Chandos Deli and independent café Koffee Time to its growing food and drink offering.
With over 25 years of experience offering coffee, freshly made salads, gourmet focaccia sandwiches and Artisan pastries, Chandos Deli has opened its seventh store in the south-west between recent arrival Ludo Sports Bar & Kitchen and the main entrance to Bath Spa train station.
Independent barista specialists Koffee Time has opened its first ever café, serving speciality coffee and delicious cakes and pastries. Located between Giraffe and Tivoli Cinema, the café will be open between 8:00am - 4:00pm on weekdays and 9:00am - 4:00pm on weekends for visitors looking to grab a tasty treat on the go or have a well-earned break after a busy day shopping.
Guy Henderson, centre director at SouthGate Bath, said: “Chandos Deli and Koffee Time are both fantastic independent outlets that enhance our daytime dining offering.
“We’re very proud to be able to support local artisan businesses like these and it’s great to see they have already proved very popular with visitors.”
Chandos Deli and Koffee Time compliment SouthGate’s existing dining destinations including Ludo Sports Bar & Kitchen, Franco Manca, The Cosy Club, Comptoir Libanais, Thaikhun, Tapas Revolution and GBK.
SouthGate will also be welcoming Zara to the centre later this year as it focuses on expanding its range of luxury brands in Bath city centre.
