This festive season, forgo the traditional Christmas turkey with all the trimmings and the mundane mince pies because Giggling Squid, the fun and innovative family of Thai restaurants, serves up Christmas – Thai-style!

CHRISTMAS DAY

For the first time ever, Giggling Squid are excited to announce a Christmas Day opening and one sitting between 12pm – 4pm ensures maximum festive fun and frivolities.

Guests can expect a stunning a Thai Feast (£60pp) with sharing dishes chosen personally by founder Pranee Laurillard as her personal favourites for such a special occasion. Dishes include Giant Prawn Satay with Exotic Thai Rainbow Salad; Chive and Black Pepper Squid; 12-Hour Slow Cooked Beef Rib and Red Snapper with Kang Som Curry.  There’s also a traditional spiced Tom Yum shot and a zingy fresh Papaya Salad palate cleaner.

Just one dessert is never enough this time of year, so Giggling Squid’s Christmas Day menu showcases a trio, including a Coconut and Pineapple Finger; Salted Caramel Soufflé and the rich decadent Chocolate Melt.
 
 

FESTIVE PARTIES

Available from 26th November, Giggling Squid’s three-course menu (£29.95pp) is sure to be a hit.

Just a flavour of what’s to come includes the aptly named Bags of Gold; filled with tender chicken with finely chopped vegetables sprinkled with a hint of spice, wrapped and lightly fried to perfection alongside the Butterfly Prawns with Black Bean Sauce and Giggling Favourite Pork Ribs with Five Spice. Taking centre-stage Pork Cheek with Red Curry and Coconut Tip, Chicken with Thai Herbs and Papaya Salad and the Mix Bean and Young Thai Kale Stir Fry provides a stunning vegan option.

Desserts will never disappoint; the Coconut Pudding made with fresh coconut water accompanied with pineapple and winter berries, makes a refreshing change. The Malted Honeycomb Semi-Freddo and Mango and Lime Cheesecake are also tempting options.
