Bath's annual comedy festival with a whole host of events throughout the city.
Bath , Somerset,
WebsiteDescribe your show in 3 words...
Moist and chocolatey.
Have you been to Bath before? If so – what do you like about the City?
Been to Bath many times and love it. It's beautiful, full of lovely pubs and people, the police station has a balcony and Inspector Morse finally got laid there. (Not on the balcony - just in Bath generally)
Where do you get the inspiration for your material?
By not watching television. Gin helps too.
When did you know you wanted to be a comedian?
Ooh I don't know - I probably first daydreamed about it in school after watching a Billy Connolly video. But I didn't do anything about it till I discovered Glasgow had live comedy gigs where I could do my first DISASTROUS open spot.
How do you deal with hecklers?
Sobbing and a blade.
What's been the most memorable gig you've done?
It's a straight toss-up between opening for Milton Jones at the Guernsey Comedy Festival and playing to 800 Serbians at a massive auditorium in Belgrade.
Who are your favourite comedians?
Dylan Moran, Andrew Maxwell and Kim Jong Un.
What are the best and worst things about your job?
Best things: the laughs, the interesting travel and the company of other comics. Worst things: badly run gigs, drunk blokes telling you bad jokes and Ginsters products.
Have you got any hidden talents?
Archery.
What's next for you after Bath Comedy Festival?
The Brighton Fringe and the Camden Fringe - and just lots more gigs. Until the call comes from Spielberg anyway...
