Fashion takes to the streets of Bath with BIF LIVE on Thursday 21st April, a day of great in-store happenings across the city. Bath in Fashion 2016 has teamed up with retailers to give shoppers extra incentives to get out and shop and find their style for Spring/Summer 2016. This is the week to watch the season’s fashions on the catwalks and then to recreate that look for you and your lifestyle. From giveaways and goodies, discounts and styling sessions to pop-up shops and colouring walls, stores will be brimming with exciting offers and experiences to enjoy.
Join in the fun at SouthGate Bath, throughout the day with treats from restaurants, live music, exciting installations, discounts at stores like Topshop, entertainment and more. Another fashion bash will be thrown for student night, always an unmissable event for students living in the city (register on southgatebath.com or on the night to make the most of retailer discounts).
Grab a pen and get colouring at Anthropologie. Join Bath’s resident fashion writer, Iain R Webb at a large scale colouring wall inspired by his ‘Vogue Colouring Book’ (Iain is in store from 2- 6pm). The installation will feature vintage images from British Vogue which are incorporated into his new book created to mark the centenary of British Vogue.
Visit Debenhams for a whole host of fabulous fashion-led events throughout the day. Make-up masterclasses and personal styling sessions plus exiting goodies, and lots of great surprises for customers will be on offer throughout the day.
Stop off for a chat and a coffee and find out about dressing your man for any occasion with the Gieves and Hawkes team on Old Bond Street. The brand comes with a fascinating history and heritage but, a bit like the city of Bath, it is looking to the future with a contemporary approach to fashion for men. Annette Luck, Founder of Ameliorate Skincare, will be talking about her luxury skincare brand which delivers superior skin smoothing and hydrating results for dry skin conditions. The founders of Hungarian spa-inspired beauty brand Omorovicza will be talking about the origins and inspirations behind their products.
