Budding Performers in Bath Invited to Take Centre Stage

Children across Bath and beyond are invited to join Bath Theatre School?s free taster on the 14th of September to enjoy an action packed 3 hour session of musical theatre.

The Saturday morning session includes singing, dancing, acting, improvisation and theatre related games, all run in an Ofsted registered and CRB checked learning environment.

Launched in 2012, the school has quickly earned a reputation for providing the best value for money and the most comprehensive range of musical theatre opportunities for children aged 7-16 in Bath and beyond.

The teaching team coaches work to a nationally recognised syllabus that is designed to develop key life skills and confidence, which is relevant to all children.

If children decide to continue they can enjoy a first academic term that consists of general theatre skills to familiarise children with performance theory, stage technique and group performance, and children learn dance routines from the current West End stage.

Amongst these experiences, children will also get to attend a Master Class with a guest artist. Last year children were taught by a member of the Hairspray touring cast, where children learnt songs and dances from the hit musical and were offered a unique chance to ask questions about the world of being a current professional performer.
