New stress-busting Free lunchtime choir launched at Komedia Bath
KOMEDIA BATH AND THE BATH BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT are delighted to announce the Komedia Lunchtime Choir. Every Wednesday from 4th March – 8th April from 12.15pm – 1.15 pm at Komedia, Westgate Street, Bath.
A FREE lunchtime choir for workers and residents of Bath lead by Matt Finch of MyPubChoir and ChoirLab20!
This inclusive, accessible choir promises no experience needed, no need to read music - all song sheets will be provided. Just turn up and belt out a few well-known songs in two or three part harmony!
Allison Herbert, CEO The Bath BID says ‘I am delighted to be working with Komedia to bring about this new activity for our busy city workforce.
According to Oxford University, group singing is great for the body and the brain, improving posture and muscle tension. Our new choir is an effective networking opportunity which will make you feel good. What’s not to like?’ Allison goes on to say: ‘The sessions are completely free of charge for BID levy payers. I hope to see many of you there’.
Eleanor Household, Director Komedia Bath says ‘We’re hugely excited to be working with the Bath Bid who have made it possible for us to host this initiative. Komedia is at the heart of our community and we’re over the moon to be able to open the doors of our beautiful venue to the workers and residents of Bath for this free stress busting singalong.’
Singing exercises the brain, improves breathing, posture and muscle tension! A perfect antidote to anyone desk bound for most of the working week!
