Hadfield, who has commanded the International Space Station, performed multiple spacewalks, and advised notable figures like Elon Musk and King Charles III, will speak at The Forum in Bath on June 14, 2025.
The event will feature a range of activities, including a presentation of exclusive images from the James Webb Space Telescope, a live audience Q&A session, and a musical performance by Hadfield himself. The astronaut gained global recognition for his rendition of David Bowie’s “Space Oddity,” recorded in space, which amassed millions of views.
Hadfield has been a consultant for Elon Musk’s SpaceX, Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic, and has worked with King Charles III on the “Astra Carta,” a sustainability in space initiative. In addition to his space career, he has authored five best-selling books and released a music album titled Space Sessions: Songs From A Tin Can, which reached the top ten on Canadian charts.
