Time-travel fun at The Roman Baths this autumn!

Get ready for an epic time-traveling adventure at The Roman Baths this autumn, where kids and families can dive into a mythic quest with Silvia, a demi-goddess on a mission.

Inspired by the book Auntie Medusa and Me by Marie Basting, visitors can join the “Medusa Mystery” trail and help Silvia find Medusa’s lost snake-haired head!

Running until December 1, 2024, the Medusa Mystery trail will guide you through the iconic Roman site, filled with fun facts, mythic monsters, and exciting clues. “The Medusa Mystery trail at The Roman Baths is a wonderful way to engage children and families with our city’s rich Roman heritage,” says Councillor Paul Roper, who highlighted the combination of history and mythology as a unique way to learn while having fun.

The fun doesn’t stop there! On October 26, Marie Basting herself will host an exclusive book reading of Auntie Medusa and Me at The Roman Baths’ Clore Learning Centre. Perfect for ages 7-11, this interactive event promises to be an unforgettable experience for all adventure lovers.
