Your Total Guide To family

REVIEW: Pumpkin Picking at Newton Farm in Bath

When it comes to creating fun and lasting memories this October half-term, look no further than Newton Farm, Pumpkin Patch in Bath. Our recent visit was great fun for the whole family, which included my two children, Amelie (12) & Jack (11), as well as myself and my mum. I can't wait to share more about our experience with you.

Nestled amidst the picturesque countryside of Bath, located just off of the roundabout near the Globe Pub, Newton Farm offers a pumpkin-picking adventure that is sure to leave you beaming with joy. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this farm takes pride in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that's perfect for families. We were greeted with warm smiles and a genuine sense of hospitality. The staff at Newton Farm were incredibly friendly and helpful, which made our experience even more enjoyable. They provided us with all the necessary information and offered us sturdy wheelbarrows to assist with our pumpkin picking and collecting.

The pumpkin patch itself was an exciting sea of orange, green, and white pumpkins of all shapes and sizes just waiting to be plucked from the vine. The kids had a blast searching for the perfect pumpkins. The thrill of discovering the biggest, the roundest, or the quirkiest pumpkin was so much fun and created great light-hearted laughter.

Newton Farm goes the extra mile to ensure that every family member, from the littlest to the oldest, can participate in the fun. The pumpkins were easy to get to, and there were plenty of smaller, more manageable ones for the kids to choose from, as well as larger showstoppers for carving enthusiasts to be able to do their thing!

Beyond the pumpkin patch, there were plenty of additional activities to keep everyone entertained. The friendly staff at Newton Farm had set up charming photo opportunities, including pumpkin frames, and giant haybale spiders which made great backdrops for perfect family snapshots.

There was welly wanging, hook a pumpkin and a marshmallow toasting station (which we loved). There were also cosy spots for picnicking and savouring hot drinks, including luxury hot chocolates and warm loaded fries and other delicious food, making it an ideal place for a leisurely afternoon outing.

Our trip to Newton Farm in Bath was the epitome of family-friendly holiday fun. It was an afternoon filled with laughter, exploration, joy from picking our own pumpkins. We left with big smiles, happy hearts, and the perfect pumpkins to adorn our doorstep this Halloween, now we just need get creative with carving (wish us luck!).

I highly recommend Newton Farm pumpkin patch for anyone seeking a wholesome, family-friendly morning or afternoon out. Pumpkins range from £2 to £15 each. Newton Farm (Bath Pumpkin Patch) is a place where memories are made, and traditions are born.

We can't wait to return next year!
