West of England Jobs and Skills Summit Promotes Green Futures at Bath College. The West of England Jobs and Skills Summit took place at Bath College's Somer Valley Campus on July 11th, bringing together adult students from across the region.

The event was graced by the presence of Dan Norris, the esteemed Metro Mayor, who engaged with the participants and emphasized the importance of skills and training in creating a sustainable and prosperous future. 

Bath College proudly hosted its students at the summit, offering them a unique chance to meet with the Metro Mayor and participate in a series of engaging activities and networking opportunities. The event showcased the wide range of green future courses offered by Bath College, including state-of-the-art heat pump technology and electrical vehicle maintenance. 

Speaking at the event, Mayor Dan Norris stated, "Skills and training are a really important part of my role as Metro Mayor, and I'm proud that my Mayoral Combined Authority is helping over 10,000 people in our region every year get the skills they need to move into some really high-quality and well-paid jobs that meet the needs of employers."
