Snapped: Bath Rugby Annual Awards Dinner 2015
On Wednesday May 13th, the team at TGtB joined Bath Rugby at the Pavilion for their annual awards dinner. The Club proudly recognised the contribution of several outstanding players and individuals in what has been an incredible season of Rugby.
It's been an impressive year for the team at Bath, with many making the England squad. George Ford and Jonathan Joseph took the limelight winning awards both at home and nationally.
The Academy Player of the Year award went to Charlie Ewels.
The Most Improved Player of the Season went to the prop Nick Auterac.
Community Player of the Season went to hooker Tom Dunn, a category in which he has also been nominated for the upcoming Premiership Rugby awards.
Top Try Scorer went to Matt Banahan.
Try of the Season went to Francois Louw, who took the honours for the unforgettable evening of skill and teamwork in Toulouse.
Forward of the Year went to number eight Leroy Houston.
Best Back went to Jonathan Joseph, undoubtedly one of the most exciting players in the European game.
Supporters Player of the Year and Players Player of the Year both went to the well deserved George Ford.
Dave Attwood, Ross Batty and David Wilson all received framed shirts from their respective 100th appearance for reaching this impressive milestone.
There was also an opportunity to highlight the fantastic work done in the sport at local grassroots level, when the head coach of Chippenham Rugby U15s, Nick Tilley, was given the Spirit of Rugby award for his tireless work with the team.
