Bath Rugby Fundraising Bake-Off for Red Nose Day
Bath Rugby players are swapping the pitch for the kitchen to raise funds for Red Nose Day and Restart ? the charity that supports ill and injured players.
Lee Mears, Dave Attwood, Jack Cuthbert and Stuart Hooper have taken up the challenge to bake and decorate 1,000 cupcakes.
They will then race around town selling their wares to local office staff to try and raise as much money as possible to help injured players and people living unimaginably tough lives in the UK and across Africa.
The event is supported by Sainsbury’s and is in association with Silver Spoon.
You too can do something funny for money this Red Nose Day. To raise a tasty sum, why not get baking and invite your friends and colleagues to a cake sale, coffee morning or tea break. A
lternatively organise your own bake-off, with a small entry fee for budding chefs and raise even more by selling off the delicious delights created. You can download a free Bake Off kit from rednoseday.com/bake
This year’s Dinosesaur Red Noses are available from Sainsbury’s, Oxfam and rednoseday.com and cost £1 each, with at least 60p going to Comic Relief. To donate to Restart and support injured players visit restartrugby.org.uk
