Bath Rugby Reveal 150th Anniversary European Kit
Bath Rugby has revealed the new 2015/16 European shirt designed by Canterbury, the Club's official kit supplier, which will be worn throughout their 150th year.
Bath will wear the kit when they go head to head with some of the giants of European rugby. The West Country side were drawn against three former European Champions - Toulon, Wasps and Leinster - in this season's European Rugby Challenge Cup, which gets underway in November.
The new European shirt features a more contemporary design in jet black and is complemented by gold highlights and detail around the loop collar and the 3D injection moulded crest, which has been developed through rapid prototyping technology.
Canterbury's traditional yet innovative 360° loop bound neckline is a feature on the latest shirt and has been used in Canterbury's sports apparel since 1949, having evolved to withstand every physicality of the game, and is Canterbury's toughest collar to date.
On the pitch, players will benefit from a range of innovations developed by Canterbury, including super-enhanced fit technology, developed through position specific 3D body-mapping, supporting the varied physiques of the modern rugby player. The shirt also benefits from VAPODRI technology along with a reduced fabrication weight, which minimises moisture absorption, improving on the look, feel and performance of the shirt on the field.
The new kit will be available from Saturday 15th August at the Bath Rugby Shop on Argyle Street, Bath, and online at www.bathrugby.com.
