Always Sunday Store has opened its new premises at 9 Broad Street this week, offering a unique range of homeware and enabling you to recreate that Always Sunday feeling in your own home.

Taking lockdown in their stride, the Always Sunday Store team used the time to reinvent their in-store experience with the welcome addition of Perk - a new and dynamic coffee hub for those who like to recharge after a spot of retail therapy.

In addition to Perk the store will, as always, be championing its community of local creatives by ushering in a new season of interactive events: starting with Nature to Nurture by Ubiety X Sophie Erin.

Ubiety is a lifestyle brand founded to help support Dorothy House Hospice, a local charity which provides compassionate care and support for people in the community with a lifelimiting illness.

Over the weekend of 24th and 25th April, Ubiety will be celebrating its roots in nature at Always Sunday Store, helping customers discover the restorative power of aromatherapy on the body and mind. During this monthly event, the Always Sunday Store will transform into a botanical boutique, using essential oils and the power of nature to reinvigorate your sense and restore the body and mind. Customers will learn about the breath-taking grounds of Dorothy House and the surrounding woodlands as well as their range of Vegan Body Care and Home Fragrance products, all of which will be available to purchase from the store.

“Ubiety means 'grounded in a definite place' and our theme for this event with Always Sunday is an appreciation of how nature has provided strength and solace throughout the COVID-19 crisis, and has always been a source of peace to our patients and their families at Dorothy House” says Marianne Cantelo of the hospice. “Always Sunday Store has supported us by designing and creating our retail spaces with us over the last two years and we look forward to growing alongside the brand which shares our ambition to bring meaningful products to the marketplace with a collaborative, giving approach.”

This promises to be a truly unique and inspiring event; the space will be filled with plants and the fragrance will be pumped throughout the store. Local artist Sophie Erin will be exhibiting her botanical artwork in-store, further instilling a sense of well-being and mindfulness at the event, and bulbs, representing optimism and new beginnings, will be given away with every purchase. 100% of the profits will be donated to the hospice to help with end-of-life care.
