Dorothy House Midnight Walk is back again!

The biggest women's event in Bath is back again, as Dorothy House invites the community to join them on Saturday 17 June for their 5km Midnight Walk. The event promises to be a great opportunity for women to celebrate, remember, and support their community while raising much-needed funds for local hospice care.

Participants are encouraged to come together with friends, family, and loved ones, including mothers, daughters, aunts, grandmas, and sisters for a fun-filled night of walking, talking, and dancing. The event will start at the Bath Pavilion and will be a fantastic opportunity to support a vital cause while enjoying the carnival spirit with glitter, feathers, sequins, or anything that makes them smile and shine. 

The Midnight Walk is open to women aged 12+ and will commence at midnight, taking participants on a 5km walk across the city, where they can take in the beautiful sights of Bath at night. The walk will conclude with party celebrations at the Pavilion until 2 am. 

Dorothy House asks every lady taking part in the walk to aim to raise a minimum of £50 in sponsorship or to make a donation in lieu of sponsorship. The money raised will fund the vital patient care the charity provides to patients with life-limiting illnesses and their families across the local community. 

Heather Cox, who has participated in the walk, shares her experience, "The Women's Midnight Walk is a really nice celebratory way of remembering someone that has benefitted from the work of Dorothy House while supporting the charity. You come away from the night feeling very emotional, very humble, very proud, and very grateful to be there."
