ENJOY FREE TESLA CHARGING AT THE ROYAL CRESCENT HOTEL & SPA

We are delighted to share the launch of a brand new partnership with Tesla Motors, a move which means we will be the only hotel in Bath to offer guests exclusive access to three charging points for the sustainable electric cars.

In its mission to accelerate the world’s transition to clean energy, Tesla will be installing three destination chargers at the hotel, making it easy for guests with Teslas and other electric vehicles to keep powered up at no cost during their visit to Bath. This will come as welcome news to the UK’s 12,000 Tesla owners and other electric car owners, whom, if they stay with us, won’t need to worry about finding a charging point upon their arrival in Bath. The chargers deliver a full charge overnight, ready for guests’ journeys home the following day. The chargers can be used by any Tesla models and any electric car with a Type Two charge port.

We are committed to reducing our carbon footprint, and the installation of these charging points is the logical next step towards achieving this goal whilst meeting the needs of our environmentally-conscious guests.

As we offer valet parking – which is complimentary for guests who book direct – guests can simply hand their keys to the concierge as they step across the threshold and enjoy the delights of the hotel. As an extra bonus, until the end of 2019, Tesla owners (arriving in their Tesla) staying for the first time will also enjoy a complimentary bottle of Taittinger Champagne as they settle into their room or suite.
