House of Bath's House of Bath's Red Hot Chilli Steppers conquer 3 Peaks Challenge raising funds for Bath Rugby Foundation

8 members from mail order homewares specialist House of Bath completed the National Three Peaks Challenge this weekend in just 24 hours, raising funds for the Bath Rugby Foundation.

This tough challenge saw them climb, walk and crawl to the top of the highest mountains of Scotland, England, and Wales all within 24 hours - Ben Nevis (4,409ft), Scafell Pike (3,209ft), and Snowdon (3,560ft). The team climbed through the day and night on Saturday and finished early Sunday morning.

James Lowe, Managing Director commented “"We are very proud to have completed what was a tough challenge over the 24 hours. We worked hard as a team, and knowing that we were raising money for such a worthwhile cause gave us the energy and determination to not give up even when the weather on Snowdon would have made it very easy to retreat to the minibus!"

The Chilli Steppers achieved their target of £7000 in sponsorship for Bath Rugby Foundation which works with young people with disabilities, children with low self-esteem and children who are at risk of social/school exclusion. The charity also seek to widen participation in sport by providing opportunities for people of all ages to enjoy, develop and achieve in physical activity. It is an independent charity, funded by grants and donations from businesses and individuals. Around 20,000 children benefit from the Foundation's tireless efforts every year.
