Pioneering new health clinic opens in Bath

The UK’s first clinic to house two brand new cutting edge cell regeneration machines opens its doors to the public this September.

‘At The Core’, a new health and wellbeing clinic that specialises in the use of pioneering technology to treat musculoskeletal conditions, such as arthritis and sporting injuries, has opened its doors on Walcot Street, Bath, this week.

At The Core is the first clinic of its kind in the UK to house two new cutting edge Molecular Bio-Physical Stimulation (MBST) machines, which stimulate cell repair and regrowth using non-invasive technology.

Once regarded as a health hotspot because of its mineral waters, spa town Bath is the picture-perfect location for this new health and wellbeing project led by husband and wife team, Paul and Julia Tisdale.

Inspired by his own experience of injury in the world of sport, former professional football player, coach and Founder of the clinic, Paul, set up At The Core after witnessing first-hand how MBST technology has transformed the lives of tens of thousands of people across the world.

He explains: “In my 30 years of professional football and coaching, I have witnessed not only the devastating impact that injury can have on someone’s physical health, but on their mental health too. I first came across MBST technology through sporting industry professionals and was totally amazed at the results – I wish I had known about it when my footballing career was cut short through injury!

“I later found out that it was also successfully treating men, women and children with a variety of musculoskeletal issues - not just sporting injuries. The possibilities are endless, this treatment will change the lives of those who are suffering in silence, helping them to get back on track.”

The couple are joined by business partner and renowned sports physiotherapist, Adey Saunderson, who has worked in Premiership rugby and as head of medicine and performance in the English Football League.

MBST is not widely known in the UK but it has transformed the lives of thousands of people across the world over the past 20 years. It is a completely pain-free and non-invasive therapy.

Paul continues; “We’re incredibly proud to bring this game-changing, pioneering piece of kit to Bath, which itself has long-term connections with health and wellbeing. We can’t wait to open our doors to our first clients - we already have a waiting list!”

Bath’s At the Core clinic will use pioneering MBST technology to treat osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, soft tissue, and sports injuries.

The technology works by stimulating damaged and degenerated cartilage, bone, ligament, tendon and muscle cells to encourage repair and regrowth. Once the cells of the affected area or injury have been sufficiently stimulated from MBST therapy, the cells will continue to grow and develop by themselves, reducing pain and enabling greater mobility.

The therapy at the clinic will be delivered alongside a course of physiotherapy to help support and speed up recovery. To find out more or to book an appointment please visit www.atthecore.health or call 01225 461205.
