Snapped: Race for Life Bath 2014
On Sunday the 15th of June, the ladies of Bath showed cancer who was boss by taking part in the annual 5 and 10k Race for Life event. This year, women of all ages ran, walked and danced their way around the course in a wave of pink and fancy dress. With Royal Victoria Park as the start line, the course wound itself around the park, Royal Avenue and the surrounding areas. TGtB went along to show our support for this fantastic fund raising event:
Race for Life is an annual, ladies only, fund raising event that takes place each year in Royal Victoria Park to raise money for Cancer Research.
Dressed in pink, fancy dress or simply running gear, the ladies don their trainers and run to support the fight against cancer
Every year the event sees hundreds of women, of all ages, join together to complete either the 5 or 10k race. Mothers, daughters, aunties, and grandmothers all run together with friends and family showing lots of support at the finish line.
A big well done to all of those who took part, we hope to see you all again next year!
