The Royal Crescent Hotel Voted One of the Best Hotels in the UK
The Royal Crescent Hotel in Bath has been voted the 18th best holiday hotel in the UK.
Conde Nast Traveller readers vote each year for the worlds top 100 hotels and to be listed in the top 20 is a prestigious accolade.
Readers voted via a questionnaire in the April 2013 edition of Conde Nast Traveller and gave an index of satisfaction, scored out of a maximum of 100. Hotels were rated on specific criteria such as service, culture and value for money.
The hotel industry is a competitive trade and to be listed as 18th best holiday hotel in the UK shows The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa’s dedication to providing guests with a special holiday experience to remember.
The Grade I Listed five star hotel is part of the prestigious Relais & Chateaux collection of hotels. It is steeped in history and is located at the centre of one of the world’s most widely recognised architectural landmarks - The Royal Crescent. It offers 45 individually appointed bedrooms which includes 16 luxury suites. The hotel also houses The Spa, The Dower House Restaurant and The Montagu bar & lounge.
The hotel prides itself on impeccable customer service and attention to detail where no task is too tall. Hotel Manager Sharon Love said “We are over the moon to receive such a fantastic accolade. It is a testament to the hard work of the whole Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa team and I am incredibly proud of how they all work together to achieve success”
The hotel, owned by one of the largest privately owned international investment groups - Topland Group - is currently in the middle of a refurbishment programme that will complete in the Spring of 2014.
Many of the bedrooms and suites have now been completed, including the new sophisticated The Montagu bar & lounge. The Dower House Restaurant will complete in mid November and The Spa refurbishment will follow.
