These are the hotels in Bath awarded Michelin Keys for ‘outstanding’ hospitality

The Michelin Guide has revealed its brand new system of accolades for the hospitality industry in Bath, introducing One, Two, and Three Key distinctions to recognise the most outstanding hotels.

The hotels awarded have been chosen not just as a place to sleep but as destinations that enhance a traveler’s experience. These properties were meticulously assessed by Michelin’s team of experts based on criteria such as architecture and interior design, quality and consistency of service, personality and character, value for money, and their unique contribution to guest experiences.

The “Keys” serve as Michelin’s hospitality equivalent of its celebrated star ratings for restaurants, highlighting hotels that are truly exceptional.

The most prestigious, the Three Key hotels, are described as setting the standard for excellence across multiple aspects of the guest experience.

For the 2024 edition, Michelin has included a total of 123 Key-rated hotels in Great Britain and Ireland: 14 hotels have earned the coveted Three Key distinction, 37 have received Two Keys, and 72 have earned One Key.
