Rebels late rally extends Bath City's wait for win

Bath City’s difficult run of form in National South continued as they fell to a 2-0 home defeat against Worthing.

The contest was goalless at Twerton Park until the final 10 minutes, before Worthing’s Joe Cook was on hand to provide a close-range finish to put the Rebels in front.

Harrison Smith then made it 2-0 to the visitors late on as Bath went four games without a league victory.

Boss Jerry Gill (pictured) now sees his side 20th in the league table with 15 points from 14 games played.

They are five points clear of the bottom four in the division ahead of St Albans City.

Next up for the Romans is a trip to Slough Town on Tuesday.
