NATURAL THERAPIST OFFERS LUXURY CORPORATE HEALTH RETREATS TO IMPROVE PRODUCTIVITY AND WELL-BEING
Natural therapist Caroline Peyton from Peyton Principles, is offering Luxury Corporate Naturopathic Nutrition Days, for companies and businesses that want to help improve the productivity and well-being of their staff.
Following on from the success of her luxury ladies’ retreat days during 2023, Caroline is now bringing her knowledge of nutrition and naturopathy to the world of business, where busy, stressed and overwhelmed workers would benefit from a day of luxury, education, team-building and wellness.
The event will be held in the beautiful surroundings of Cotswold Park Barns at Woodmancote, north of Cirencester.
Caroline qualified as a nutritional therapist in 2009 and as a naturopath in 2013. The 57-year-old, mother of twin daughters, has been running her busy clinical practice in Wiltshire, the Cotswolds and online for 13 years. During the retreat, Caroline will use her experience to guide each team through transformative steps to boost wellbeing and productivity, using methods tailored to their specific needs and goals.
Caroline explains what attendees can expect: “This will be a chance to reward and motivate you and your team. During the day you will learn practical tools and techniques for maintaining optimal health and energising performance.
“You’ll foster stronger team bonds in a beautiful and relaxing environment and enjoy delicious and nourishing food.”
The importance of looking after employee mental health has received welcome attention in recent years, yet it is clear from Health and Safety Executive (HSE) statistics that businesses need more support and guidance.
For example, HSE figures show that in 2021/22, 1.8 million workers were suffering from a work-related illness, of which 914,000 were caused by stress, depression or anxiety, resulting in 17 million lost working days. An 11% rise from the previous year.
A Deloitte report that poor mental health at work costs UK employers up to £56 billion a year. However, the figures also show that for every £1 invested in improving mental health, employers will see a return of £5.30.
According to CUSP (Centre for the Understanding of Sustainable Prosperity), individuals who engage in risky health behaviours (e.g. smoking, unhealthy diet and lack of exercise) in the absence of any formal [health] diagnosis tend to report reduced labour productivity through presenteeism and absenteeism.
The cost of each corporate retreat day is £2,000 for up to 10 people, with an extra cost of £150 per additional person up to a maximum of 16. The cost includes exclusive use of Cotswold Park Barns, hosting and tailored transformative guidance designed to boost well-being and productivity by Caroline Peyton, practical tools and techniques that you can take away to immediately implement for sustained health and performance, plus food and refreshments.
Once individuals have the education and understanding of how to nourish the body, it can transform performance, since few people truly understand:
- how energy is created in the body
- how food impacts mental clarity
- how the right diet enhances the body’s stress coping mechanisms
- how the right strategies (nutrition and lifestyle) protect the body from burn-out
