A Guide to the Best Florists in Bath

Whether you are looking for flowers for your loved ones, your wedding, bridal shower or even as a little treat for yourself, Bath has a variety of florists where you will be spoiled for choice. If you are looking for freshly picked red roses in stunning arrangements or a variety of diverse flowers in a breath-taking bouquet, you have come to the right place!

The Flowershop at Bath College

Bath College operates a flower shop where all flowers are grown, arranged, and curated by Floristry students under the guidance of their expert tutors. The shop offers a range of floral designs crafted to the highest standards, available for purchase.

Both staff and students are dedicated to providing exceptional customer service, listening carefully to customers' needs and translating their preferences into beautiful floral creations. The shop is managed by Level 2 and Level 3 Floristry students, who are trained to a high level and play a key role in designing each order. Every arrangement undergoes quality control by a lecturer before being made available for collection.

Bohemian Blooms

Bohemian Blooms, located in Carlingcott, Bath is run by Louisa. This company has taken a sustainable approach in floristry and grows their flowers in their own country yard, avoiding floral farms. They also opt for purchasing locally and for seasonal varieties whenever possible. They also grow all their flowers from seed, try to avoid floral foam wherever possible and avoid pesticide use on their plants. The flowers are carefully handpicked and arranged on a daily basis for all occasions such as weddings, birthdays, special gifts and funerals. Besides floral bouquets, they also offer beautiful floral wreaths to purchase throughout the year which you can hang up in your home space.

You can contact Louisa to discuss floral arrangements for a function. Bohemian Blooms also offers an online purchasing service where you can shop for beautiful bouquets and wreaths.

However, delivery is only available within 3 miles of Peasedown. If you are further than 3 miles, collections can be arranged at Carlingcott on Fridays. To add to their exceptional floral service, they also offer wreath making courses to the public. Bohemian Blooms does not have a brick-and-mortar store but you can get in touch with Bohemian Blooms via their website or on their Instagram page (@bohemianbloomsuk).

Flowercard UK

Flowercard is a one-of-a-kind, unique floral service and is the perfect way to show someone you’re thinking of them, to mark a special occasion, to say thank you, offer condolences or even congratulations. Flowercard UK operates like your usual floral business, except for one tiny detail: all the flowers are sent inside cards (thus the name of this business). So, if you are battling between sending a loved one flowers or a card why not send both?

The flower arrangement in each card consists of a selection of flowers such as lisianthus, roses, hypericum and veronica plus contemporary flowers too. Also added are wonderful foliage and greenery like succulents and ferns with antique carnations, arabicum, craspedia and brunia.

The card part of the Flowercard is a mixture of watercolours drawn or hand-painted by established British artists and grouped by themes like Vintage, Floral, Contemporary, Nature, Elegant and Graphic. Recently they have also been experimenting with new digital design ideas from leading young creative designers.

Flowercard began back in 2000, sending hand-picked fresh flowers in artistically designed cards. They are one of the largest companies in mail order flowers in the UK. They have Flowercards for every occasion; weddings, birthdays, anniversaries or corporate events, to name a few. Besides Flowercards their range also extends to flower boxes, trugs, teacups, letterbox flowers and more.

They are available to purchase online and Flowercard will deliver to homes, workplaces or even hospitals. With each card you purchase, you can add your own personalized message to give it a special touch. Moreover, you also have the option to personalize your card with additional extras such as chocolates, wine, champagne, scented candles, and balloons.
