We recommend
If you are looking for an event with lots of new products and delicious food that you can't buy at the supermarket, natural and organic skin care and cosmetics, ethical and environmental clothing, a day packed full of educational and inspirational charities and organisations, or simply a market with no need for label-checking, which is also family friendly with free entry for children under 16… you’ve come to the right place!
Local stall-holders include Box Steam Brewery, makers of a flavoursome range of beers that are brewed by hand in a steam copper, Eat Dark Matters, offering their delicious range of gourmet brownies, truffle balls and marshmallows and Get Pickled Somerset, selling their artisan range of chutneys, pickles, ketchups, kimchis, pestos and kraut. Not to mention Vina Loca, offering their special range of vegan, organic, biodynamic, and boutique wines. Other local stall-holders include Oko Marketplace offering an eco-friendly range of skincare, haircare and homeware.
There will also be a wide range of global food caterers including dishes from Greek Vegan Deli, VDogs, House of Habesha, Plant.eat.licious and Those Vegan Pizza Guys, plus a wide range of other food and drink stalls offering pies, cookies, cakes and baked goodies, alongside not-for-profit and charitable organisations at the event such as Animals Asia, Forever a Hounds Trust and vegan-led animal welfare charity Miracle’s Mission.
Vegan Events UK was founded in 2017 with the joint aim of promoting veganism and helping to fund Miracle’s Mission, which is trying to set up a dedicated Disabled Animal Rehabilitation Centre to help the most vulnerable animals in need. The centre will provide dedicated care for the most vulnerable dogs and cats. They will receive thorough veterinary assessments, MRIs, surgeries, the fitting of prosthetics, and doggy wheels. At the moment, the charity is raising money to buy the property up front, which is a massive cost for such a small charity to bear.
Bath Vegan Market takes place from 10:30am to 4:30pm on Saturday 6th November 2021 at Bath Pavillion, North Parade Road, Bath, BA2 4EU. The venue has disabled access and allows service dogs. Entry is £4 payable on the day on the door (under 16’s free) or £15 for VIP tickets in advance from Eventbrite to include fast track entry and a goody bag full of vegan products, samples, discounts and offers. The venue is next to a car park and there is also a cricket ground car park across the road. Please note that this event will be going ahead subject to the restrictions at the time of the event and organisers will be following social distancing measures according to laws laid out at the time of the event.
