Skydive Netheravon is the home of the Army Parachute Association.

The Army Parachute Association (APA) located at Netheravon Airfield in Wiltshire, is a non-profit organisation that promotes and supports sports parachuting for military personnel, active and retired, as well as welcoming civilian members from all over the country.

Committed to providing the highest level of training for all members throughout their skydiving career, the APA are also continually reinvesting to improve the services and facilities for everyone.

Initially used for balloon operations prior to World War 1, the airfield during the Second World War was RAF Netheravon, and home to 296 and 297 squadrons. It is thought that the airfield is the longest continuously used airfield in the world.

If you are thinking of a new sport, then beginning a skydiving journey with the APA is the place to be! The highly experienced team offer three ways to start your adventure; Tandem Skydive from 13000ft, for fun, charity, celebrating a birthday or anniversary, wedding proposal (!) or just because you can! Accelerated Free Fall (AFF) and First Jump Courses are also on offer for those who want to learn to jump solo.

Tandem skydiving is a great introduction into the world of parachuting and is becoming increasingly popular. The AFF Course has 8 'levels', and can be completed in as little as a few days if the weather is in your favour. Static Line courses are from a lower level but just as exhilarating. These two courses can lead to your skydiving licence which means you can jump solo anywhere in the world! So if you’re 16 or over the skies are yours. How’s that for an adventure?
