Aled Brew agrees new deal at Bath Rugby
Bath Rugby winger Aled Brew has put pen to paper on a one-year contract extension at the Recreation Ground.
Brew, who only joined in September, initially signed a short-term deal at the club but the Welshman who has nine caps for his country has made such an impact during this three months that he has been rewarded with a deal until the end of the 2017-18 season.
The timing of his new deal could not be better with Brew having scored his first try for Bath in the 38-3 mauling of the Cardiff Blues in the European Challenge Cup which saw the Blue, Black and White leapfrog the Blues to go top of pool four.
Brew spent two seasons with French side Biarritz in between three successful spells with Newport Gwent Dragons, where he amassed over 200 points for the Welsh side.
On his new contract, Brew said: I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with Bath over the last few months and have settled in really well, so I’m really happy to be staying for at least another season and a half.
