Aled Brew joins Bath Rugby on short-term contract

Bath Rugby have today confirmed the signing of Aled Brew on a day until the end of the season.

Brew left the Newport Gwent Dragons on Tuesday to join the Blue, Black and Whites on trial but has already done enough to impress Director of Rugby Todd Blackadder.

He has won nine caps for Wales but has not featured for his country since 2012, but was a member of the Welsh team that won the World Cup Sevens in 2009.

Blackadder said of the signing: "Aled is an international standard winger, so we are very pleased he has joined the club.

"He was looking for a fresh start and will gives us some experience and depth to the squad."
