Bath Rugby reach 50,000 tally for 'The Clash' ticket sales
Bath Rugby have announced their "excitement" of reaching the 50,000 mark for "The Clash" ticket sales.
'The Clash' will see top-four chasing Bath Rugby meet with fierce rivals and fellos play-off contenders Leicester at Twickenham on Saturday, April 8 with a 14:00 kick-off.
With less than three weeks until one of the most anticipated fixtures in the rugby calendar, one lucky ticket purchaser will enjoy a chauffeur driven day-out at The Clash, courtesy of Arivon Cars*, when tickets surpass the 55,000 mark.
“We’re incredibly excited to have over 50,000 people joining us for The Clash,” said Tarquin McDonald, Bath Rugby Managing Director. “There has been an incredible amount of support, as the ticket sales show. We’re looking forward to a fantastic day out at Twickenham, and can’t wait for everyone coming to enjoy not only a superb game of rugby, but all the other fun and activities we have planned.”
A huge game of rugby is in store, as one of the oldest rivalries in rugby is renewed and both sides vie for a place in the top four come the end of the season.
But The Clash isn’t just about the rugby. Action in ‘The Forum’ - the supporters’ zone in the West Fan Village - starts at 11:00 and includes live music, motorcycle stunt display team On The Edge, fairground rides and have-a-go sports. After the final whistle, West Country legends, The Wurzels will be performing some of their biggest hits live on stage.
A truly memorable day is in store for all the family, with ticket prices starting at just £5 for juniors and £15 for adults. For tickets and more information, visit
