Bath City seal comeback victory to progress in FA CUp

Bath City have booked their place in the fourth qualifying round of the FA Cup after an impressive 2-1 comeback win against Salisbury.

Alex Fisher netted the winner in stoppage time to seal the spoils for the Romans, who find out their opponents in the next round later today.

Josh Hedges had put the Whites a goal up at the Ray Mac, with the hosts leading at the interval.

But Jordan Tillson levelled midway through the second half for Jerry Gill’s side before Fisher headed in the winner late on.

Victory pocketed Bath £5,625 in prize money.

The fourth qualifying round of the cup will take place on the weekend of Saturday, October 12.
