Bath Rugby Supporters' Club Annual Awards Supper Is A SELL OUT
One of the biggest nights in the Bath Rugby Supporters’ Club (BRSC) events calendar is just around the corner – and it’s already a sell-out!
The 2015 BRSC Awards Supper will see supporters, players, family and friends gather on Tuesday 18th August at The Rec Clubhouse for a relaxed and enjoyable evening of celebration.
BRSC members have until Friday 31st July to cast their votes and choose who they believe should receive awards for Player of the Season, Young Player of the Season, Try of the Season, Personality of the Season and Unsung Hero of the Season. There will also be two special awards, the Mowbray Woodwards Award for Services to Bath Rugby, and the Academy Director's Award - the Alexandra Titcombe Cup. The winners of these awards will be revealed on the night following a drinks reception and a two course meal.
2014 award winners included Tom Dunn, Ollie Devoto, Leroy Houston, Matt Garvey and Nick Abendanon.
BRSC will hold a raffle for their charity for this season, as chosen by members at this year's AGM - Great Western Air Ambulance Charity - which provides lifesaving emergency care to people who cannot be reached by road, or are in a state so critical that they immediately require the skills of the specialist team. BRSC will raise much needed funds and awareness for them throughout 2015-16.
“It’s shaping up to be another great evening down at the Rec." said BRSC Chairman, Kevin Lawrence. "We are delighted to welcome John Titcombe Fine Jewellery and Nine Feet Tall as title sponsors this year. They join Mowbray Woodwards Solicitors who continue to provide their support for this event. We look forward to welcoming all our guests on 18th August.”
Huw Jones, Partner of Nine Feet Tall, comments, "Nine Feet Tall are delighted to be involved with the Bath Rugby Supporters' Club Annual Awards. We are a growing Bath based project consultancy and proud to be a Business Partner of Bath Rugby and sponsor for the new Canterbury training kit for the 2015/16 season.
